In my opinion the best car hire service will be a company name Reliable Car Service and/or if you want to rent try Enterprise!
Talk to the company that carries the insurance policy for your own car - quite often, it either already covers rental cars, or you can get low-cost additional coverage. Make sure you understand what that coverage does and doesn't include.
As long as you have a full licence Insurance excess will be higher because you are younger try thi link http://www.yourwaycarrental.co.nz And remember which side of the road we drive on lol
AutoEurope is just as good as Avis or Hertz. You can pick up your car at Waverley Station and if you wish to drop it off at the airport, you can do.
All major companies will let you pick up a car outside of their regular opening hours, especially at airport locations. But they will charge a supplement and most of the time you cannot reserve online, so you should e-mail them or call. http://www.europcar.co.uk/ http://www.avis.co.uk/
One time about ten years ago I talked to someone at Hertz Car Rental, and I transported a car from Florida up to Chicago. I had to talk to corporate managers. I don't know it they do that any more. I had to pay for the fuel. There is a company in Chicago called Auto Driveaway and they let you transport cars. You have to go register and their office and see what cars need to be transported.
You should try www.carrentals.co.uk Its like a price comparison site. It saved me a WEDGE!
It's like in the US, when you rent a car, there is an additional charge when you drop it off at a different location, and if your a foreigner, they'll charge you an arm and a leg. I would recommend taking the bus down to the Cabo, and then catch the ferry. Nowadays, they have good bus service, that isn't too expensive and high quality, first class. This would be a way of getting around that. Good luck.
you,re better off hire it from www.europcar.com 5 weeks (oneway) from £700.car company in uk only lease car for at least 12 months period.
The most common minimum age is 25. That is because in the U. S. drivers under 25, as a group, have the most traffic accidents. The actual minimum depends on each companies policy. You won't have any problem finding a rental (hire) agency that will give you a car, but you may be charges a modest surcharge for being under 25. One company that I would suggest is Enterprise Rent-a-Car I believe they are also in the U. K. They are one of the more economical rental companies (much less than Hertz) , and if you log on to their U. S. website it will allow you to estimate the cost in your age group for each city you plan to visit.
You might want to consider renting an RV. It will save you tons of money on hotel costs. Here's a site that can help you estimate fuel costs for your trip: http://www.fuelcostcalculator.com/ I've heard this company was a good place to rent an RV from: http://www.cruiseamerica.com/destinations/oneway-rv-rental.aspx There's a number you can call (it's on the left side of the page in small lettering) for one-way rentals. It's hard to say how long it will take. It depends on how often you stop, places you visit, how fast you drive, etc... If you plan on making stops at lots of places for activities, sight seeing, etc, it might take you anywhere from 1.5 weeks to 1 month or more. I would map out destinations you want to visit, and different cities that you want to stop in, and plan at least 1 day at the least for every stop/city just to allow ample time. You can use mapquest to see estimated travel times. If you take the shortest route from NY to LA, you're going to see a lot of nothing in between. You'll need to do some out-of-the-way driving to get to all the major cities, and attractions. Make sure to visit places like The Grand Canyon, or YellowStone National Park! Have fun!
Sorry but you are going to need full insurance (not sure of the price nowadays). It is a common practice that the people that sell cheap or free car hire will then charge the earth for insurance. Take a look at this website www.uscarhire.co.uk We always use them and have never found a better deal. Absolutely everything is included insurance wise, so the price they quote is the price you pay. Contact your agent or Dollar to see how much insurance would be then check out the site above and you will probably find it is cheaper to use them than pay for insurance. Another tip is to join Dollar Express (you can do it throught the site above). It is free to join and much quicker to pick up your car at the airport. Hope this helps you.
Hi this I think depends on the hire company so you need to speak to them about this. I think there are some companies that do allow some leaway for speeding fines as they are always getting them in the US but you really do need to check with them. Hope that its works out ok and you go on to have a great holiday. although it wont be the end of the world if you are unable to drive. I have never driven in Orlando and manage to do everything i need to using cabs and public transport.
You can't hire a car in Spain without a credit card, in fact I don't know any country where you can hire a car without a credit card nowadays. It is for security reasons.
Try www.easycar.com I have used them in Spain, England and Ireland before. Very good.
http://reports.mintel.com/sinatra/reports/index/letter=22/display/id=709anchor=a709 http://www.e-consultancy.com/research/statistics-market-data.asp some info here. you could also try the local libary and see if there is a local business start up agency
This will not be a problem if you add him to the named drivers when you collect the car. You will both need your driving licence (both parts) and your passports for identification plus all the documents you have been sent to take along. I have looked into this several times as I am trying to brave driving there myself as it can sometimes be taxing managing with public transport. have driven abroad before as well so not sure why I worry re Orlando. have a great holiday.
There are a number of car hire companies operating out of Toulouse Airport and we have provided contact details for them as follows: Ada Toulouse Airport - Avis Toulouse Airport - Budget Toulouse Airport - Europcar Toulouse Airport - Hertz Toulouse Airport - National Toulouse Airport - Sixt Toulouse Airport - Walter Spanghero Toulouse Airport I would avoid avis though= bad experience in perpignan airport
You can find places to compare the rates and put in to drop in Vancouver and put in for discounts, covers USA and Canada.
